I came to Riata after a break in SIMming. I had never done an old-style SIM before. The people already in Riata are super friendly, and helped me whenever I needed help. Riata is good because you can play as little or as much as you want. There are almost always people on the boards, and people reply so quickly. Riata is by far the best SIM game I have ever played, and also has a wide age span. There are also people from all around the world in Riata, from Canada, to the US, the Australia.

I am new to Riata, and I have to tell you it is one of the best SIM games I have ever tried. All of the rules are easy to understand, players are friendly and the site is active without being overwhelming. I admire the level of maturity everyone maintains, and spirit of community. People are able to be serious about their SIM horses, and still have fun. I plan to be here for a long time.

Riata is one of the greatest horse sim games I have ever had the pleasure of becoming a member of. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to understand and easily navigated. Most of its life is on the message board, which is great! The members are friendly and most of them don't hesitate to offer advice if you need it, even in personal issues. They share stories, pets at home, and tell all their little humourous jokes. Riata isn't just a horse sim; it is a way of life that once you've joined you get addicted to. It offers you an experience where you become accustomed to realistic horses being offered for sale, for stud, for lease; the horses on this game aren't truly fake because they are at the heart of their owners. Riata is a great game, and if I hadn't joined I would be missing out on something I couldn't have found anywhere else.

Riata, though unlike any other SIM I've played, has very much turned out to be my favorite. There are very few places where people are willing to be so open about the trials and triumphs of their own lives, a SIM game would be the last place you'd expect it. We are less like game players and more like a group of friends, willing to support anyone through whatever they are going through. I'm proud to call Riata my home, SIM or not.

Riata is an amazing game. It's full of people who are both fun and mature (they can type!) and it's great practice for managing real-life horse records, appointments, show schedules, etc. There's a huge range of breeds and disciplines, so it's not at all difficult to find something (or many somethings) that suit you - and once you do, you're in for a great time!

Riata has been a pleasure from the get-go. The hoops I had to jump through to get in were well worth it, as this game has proved to be one of the best games I have ever seen. The players are mature, friendly and open! It's safe to say, I'm hooked.

I've been playing Riata since May of 2006, and all this time, it has become a part of my everyday life. I had been playing other SIM games for at least four years, and now the only one I ever play is Riata. I don't ever want to switch! The first website I visit every day is Riata. Everyone is so friendly, and willing to help out anybody that needs it- whether it is a game issue, or a problem you're having in real life. You don't have to worry about screwing up as a newbie, because you're always given a second chance. Sure, the admins are strict, but I think that's something other SIM games lack, someone to actually enforce the rules. Since I'm not lucky to have a horse of my own, I am proud to say that Riata has fixed that!

I have been playing Riata for only a few months and I have to say it has been an awesome experience. The people here are so mature and responsible but they are still forgiving of "noob" mistakes. The admin is quick to update things that need to be fixed and are constantly adding new and cool things to do here. I highly recommend joining if you are looking for an advanced player game to meet involved horsepeople.

While I have not been a part of Riata for a substantial amount of time, I have found that even in such brevity Riata is a welcoming, mature, and fun game. Fellow members are always willing to help, no matter the issue, and everyone is articulate and friendly, making the overall atmosphere of the game a pleasant one; it’s conducive to learning, playing and excelling in everything equine sim-related. I’ve played many sim games over the years, and have had much dissatisfaction, but I’m confident and pleased to say that Riata has exceeded my expectations. I love being a part of Riata, and I couldn’t recommend it anymore highly!

Riata is an amazing game. I had been searching for a sim for quite a while when I stumbled on this one. It has a friendly environment as well as a mature style of simulation. There isn't really anything I would change and I think that this is one of the few games that will remain even after its current owners move on. Excellent work and keep it up!
