Breeding License
Being in posession of a breeder's license is required for any owners who want to have more than six foals per year. You must take this exam once, pay a fee of $50,000, and then pay an annual fee of $25,000. You also need to recertify with a separate test on a yearly basis. You'll be listed as a licensed barn & breeder and a certificate you may post on your barn page if you want. As a licensed breeder, you may breed an unlimited amount of foals a year. You must have been a player in Riata for THREE months and must have a private or boarding barn before you can apply to have a breeding barn. Email your exam answers to admin@riata-online.net.
